Club de Jóvenes, 1er Día de Clases y Actividades

¡El sábado 14 de marzo, las clases y actividades de nuestro Cool Cycle, Youth Alive! 2009 empezaron! Estábamos muy contentos de ver a muchos de nuestros jóvenes de vuelta al club para continuar con sus clases de inglés. Y también estábamos muy contentos de ver nuevos jóvenes que deseaban juntarnos en las clases y actividades.

On Saturday the 14th of March the classes and activities of Cool Cycle, Youth Alive! 2009 started! We were glad to see many of our youths returning to continue their English classes. We were also very happy to see new youths joining us in our classes and activities.




Estamos también muy orgullosos de tener un equipo de voluntarios capacitados quienes tienen experiencia no sólo enseñando inglés sino que también están capacitados para aconsejar a nuestros jóvenes inculcando valores en sus vidas. Estos voluntarios han sido muy comprometidos y leales por eso estamos muy orgullosos de tenerlos con nosotros.

We are also proud to have with us a team of trained volunteers who are experienced not only to teach English but who are also able to counsel the youths in inculcating good values into their lives. They have been faithful and committed volunteers and we are proud to have them with us.

Hemos empezado nuestras actividades con el Aprendizaje Experimental también – en estas actividades los jóvenes pueden aprender más sobre ellos mismos y aprender a trabajar en equipo. Fue muy divertido ver a los jóvenes participando en juegos tales como Whacko, Dog-and-Bone y desafiar a todos los jóvenes en la carrera de amebas.

We also kicked off our activities with Experiential Learning – activities from which youths can learn more about themselves and about working together. It was a lot of fun watching the youths play Whacko, Dog-and-Bone and challenge each other in Amoeba Race.







Después de que los líderes pasaban un tiempo de evaluación y aprendizaje junto a sus respectivos equipos, celebramos los cumpleaños del mes todos juntos. Este mes (marzo), nos complace celebrar junto a Karla, Keng Suan y Mayra. ¡Feliz Cumpleaños a ellas!

After the group leaders led their members through a time of evaluation and learning from the activities, we also celebrated birthdays of the month together. This month, we are glad to celebrate together with Karla, Keng Suan and Mayra. Happy birthday to them!



Gracias también a todos nuestros voluntarios adultos, nuestros jóvenes voluntarios y todos nuestros miembros, pasamos un grandioso día, juntos. Y esperamos disfrutar de más momentos como éste en todo el año.

Thanks to all our adult volunteers, our youth volunteers and all our members, we had a great day together. We hope to have a lot more of such moments in this year to come!
